Remove from group does not work

Symptom
Removing an object from a group via the 'remove from group' command does not work.The object stays in the group.
Cause
You are selecting the object in a mode that is different from what was used to originally make the object/s a part of the group.
Solution
The selection mode used to add an object/s to the group should be used to remove the object/s from the group too.
e.g: If the object is branch selected (middlemouse selected) and added to the group. Use the branch selection mode to remove the object from the group.
