If you click on the output filename of any task listed on the Tasks Detail page, the rendered/processed image is displayed in the Task Display page, along with specific information about the frame.
To display the image, BatchServe converts it from it's native format to a web-friendly format, like JPG or PNG, using the imf_copy standalone (included in any XSI installation). The temporary image is then loaded into PHP and overlayed with additional information (for example, the image's dimensions and filename).
This allows the BatchServe server to display images that are outside the web server's document tree.
| If the Apache server is running as a user that doesn't have permission to mount remote drives, the converted images will not be accessible. |
