Overview
The Task Detail page gives you an overview of a specific job's tasks. It contains 3 sections: The Tasks Overview, a graphical breakdown of render times, and at the bottom a table showing information about individual tasks.
The Task Overview
The task overview section is the same as the one found at the bottom of the Edit Jobs page, with the addition of the completion estimate. The estimated completion time is displayed as long as there is at least one frame completed and clients are currently processing tasks from the selected job.
The Render Times Graph
The Render Times section contains graphical statistics for the current job. The first graph shows the render times, for the entire sequence. The X axis represents the number of frames in the sequence and the Y axis represents the render time. Each bar represents a frame and its color indicates the frame's status: green for “completed”, blue for “in progress”, and so on (see Job and Task Status).
The second graph shows the total render time information in a timeline with a track for each client that processed the job. The timeline starts with the start time of the first rendered frame and ends with the current time (or the end time of the last rendered frame). Gaps appear in this graph if the job is stopped and restarted.
The Tasks List
The Tasks section shows task information in greater detail. You can filter the tasks by status or by client machine. You can also select tasks, re-submit them to the queue, or re-submit all tasks that were marked as errors. Clicking on the Task name displays the Task Info page, which contains a rendered image of that frame along with some additional information.
Resubmitting Tasks
You can resubmit failed tasks to the queue by doing one of the following:
- Select the tasks to resubmit by checking the box next to the Output field and then click the Re-Submit Selected button.
- or
- Click the Re-Submit All Errors button to resubmit all failed frames to the queue.
