License server service
The license server uses a Windows service to run the daemon. When troubleshooting license server problems, you may have to update the license server service. Do the following:
- Open the license manager: choose Start > Programs > Softimage Products > License Manager.
- From the top menu, choose Tools > Uninstall License Server Service.
- Now, from the same menu, choose Tools > Install License Server Service.
- This process ensures that the Windows service is installed correctly and is pointing to the appropriate executables.
