The Edit Render Options page is an HTML version of the Render Options property page in the Softimage|XSI interface. The layout, functionality and interaction have been preserved as much as possible. When you submit a scene to the BatchServe server, the server creates its own copy of the job’s render options, which is displayed here.
Once you've submitted the job, you must make any changes to the render options from this page. Changing the render options directly in the scene will not affect the render options stored by BatchServe since the server’s copy of the options takes priority over the scene’s options.
Once you’ve finished changing the render options, click the Update Render Options button to save the changes.
| Each time you change the render options from within the Edit Render Options page, BatchServe re-renders the entire job, including frames that were already rendered with the previous options. This ensures that all frames in a submitted render pass, for example, are rendered using the same options. |
